Hot on the heels of welcoming 31,000 visitors at the Melbourne EV Show, FutureDrive AutoShows will present the inaugural Light Commercial Motor Show (LCMS) at ICC Sydney. Presented from the 7th to the 10th of August and incorporating SmallBiz Week 2025, this four-day event is unique in Australia, as the only expo devoted entirely to the vehicles that keep our businesses moving and will feature all fuel vehicles. From Thursday’s fleetbusinessonly trade days to the weekend public showcases, the exhibition brings together small‑to‑medium enterprises (SMEs), tradespeople and fleet managers to explore the very latest UTEs, vans, crew‑cabs and the brand‑new multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) people‑mover category.

Australia has witnessed an unprecedented wave of electric UTEs, and the exhibition will provide the first opportunity to see the largest display of UTEs from all power sources to date. With record numbers of energy‑efficient pickups, vans and crew‑cabs hitting the market in 2025, this is the definitive platform for tradies looking to reduce running costs. The Light Commercial Motor Show will showcase to trade and public audiences whilst also catering to SME owners seeking reliable low‑emission workhorses and fleet operators planning their next upgrade.

“As the only platform in Australia dedicated to light commercial vehicles, we’re committed to fostering collaboration between OEMs, fleet operators and industry bodies.” Said Ray Evans, Founder & CEO FutureDrive AutoShows. “This is where the future of transport policy, regulation and infrastructure planning will be shaped.”

The first two days will be presented as a Trade Show along with SmallBiz Week 2025, the country’s largest standalone event for small-to-medium businesses. Thursday and Friday will focus on business buyers and open exclusively to business visitors across fleet management, construction, logistics, healthcare, tourism, and trade. The weekend will transform into a public show, opening the doors to consumers, including rural buyers, adventurers, retirees, and lifestyle seekers. Supporting brands include NRMA, Tip Top Equipment, Geotab, Caddy Storage, Stratton Finance, Fin Me, and Rhino Rack Australia, with an array of major OEMs to be announced.

The Light Commercial Motor Show has been created for movers, makers and modern businesses and is set to become the one-stop destination for what’s next in the light commercial space. Catering to a broader mix of industries and lifestyles, the show is set to become the go-to for Fleet Managers, tradies, SME owners, and weekend adventurers. Show-goers will explore the latest in fuel-powered, hybrid, and electric vehicles with the latest in accessories, tech, fleet solutions, and branding services on display.

“We recognise the weekend warrior lifestyle,” said Ray Evans, “these days business vehicles often haul tools through the week and toys on the weekend, including bikes, boats and go-karts!”

The event is an ideal platform for brands offering products and services that support both work and play. Visitors to the show can expect the largest Light Commercial Vehicle showcase in Australia, featuring test drives, live stage sessions with experts and key players in the industry and hands-on networking with decision-makers. Additionally, a comprehensive list of exhibitors split between B2B and B2C programming across accessories, tech, fleet software, and services will be on display over the four unmissable days.

The Light Commercial Motor Show is presented by FutureDrive AutoShows, Australia’s No. 1 auto exhibition platform. With business and lifestyle needs covered, FutureDrive AutoShows expects over 25,000 attendeesacross the weekend for the inaugural show. In 2024, FutureDrive events attracted over 70,000 attendees, and are on course to attract 100,000+ in 2025. With preparation already underway for the final event of the year, the Sydney International EV AutoShow (31st October to 2nd November 2025), it is likely that FutureDrive will achieve and exceed its goal.
