Geelong Rainbow Festival is back!
Saturday April 9th is the annual Pride March. This year we’ll be marching along footpaths from Johnstone Park to West Park, the new home of Geelong Rainbow!
There will be live entertainment, face painting, food trucks, craft sellers and community resource displays throughout West Park and the Geelong West Neighbourhood House.
Sunday, April 10th is Picnic Day from 12 PM in West Park. Food trucks will be there to sell snacks and treats all afternoon. Family activities include face painting, a petting zoo, and live music from local talent Georgia Rodgers performing at 1 PM and 3:30 PM. At 2 PM the Geelong Rainbow Pet Parade shows off the community’s animal friends, sponsored by PETstock!
The event is run by Geelong Rainbow Inc., a volunteer-led non-profit organisation serving the LGBTQI community in Geelong and the Barwon region.
So get your fabulous costumes sorted and gather your crew for a huge day of rainbow fun.
