The Bellarine Music Festival is a brand new winery-based music festival showcasing great Australian local talent that aims to present a celebration of live music, to locals living in regional Victoria and those visitors experiencing regional Victoria this Summer.
Following Covid delays & closures, weather speculation & uncertainty, Premier Artists hosted an unforgettable debut concert event featuring Ross Wilson & The Peaceniks, The Badloves, Kings Canyon and The Androids at the Bellarine Estate, just off Portarlington Road.
Add to that wide open spaces, ample parking, concert memorabilia, impeccable organisation so everything starts on time, a licensed venue with tempting food and wine, and you have the recipe for a perfect covid safe intimate concert experience.
There’s no better way to get in the mood for the festival than sipping on a glass of locally produced award winning wine, amongst the very vines it came from.
In the horizon you can see vines and Corio Bay, one of numerous internal bays in the southwest corner of Australia’s Port Phillip, and the bay which abuts the City of Geelong.

At full capacity the festival can accommodate 5,000 people, and the crowd is a real mix of Young Ravers and Baby Boomers, who manage to live and dance together in perfect harmony.
The combination and quality line-up of music yesterday had all the crowd wanting more. The Androids, King Canyon and the Badloves did a wonderful job getting the crowd all warmed up, but once Ross Wilson and the Peaceniks took to the stage, he proved that Daddy Cool at the age of 74, still has a lot of life left in him yet. Ross’s playlist included songs from his days as Daddy Cool as well a select few from his time as lead singer with Mondo Rock. He even stayed behind after the concert to sign t’shirts and give autographs.
This stunning venue and success of the debut concert already has organisers ‘Premier Artists’ converting the festival into an annual event, and are already making plans for 2022.
