After a rigorous judging process, the finalists for the TMRRW Awards AU/NZ 2023 have been announced. The 51 finalists have been chosen and the varied businesses have each earned their place based on their commitment to paving the way towards a better future – where the planet, people, and business can thrive, not just survive.

With the finalists announced, the public can now vote for their favourite finalist in the People’s Choice Award. Every finalist has the opportunity to win, and anyone who submits a vote for the finalist of their choice will go into the running to win a 4-day adventure in Tasmania for two, thanks to Intrepid Travel.

Previously known as The Circle Awards, the TMRRW Awards recognise the local businesses, organisations, and projects making a positive environmental or social impact. The awards are building a community of Change Makers to inspire new ways of thinking, living, and working and fostering a culture of collaboration and collective action – with the finalists recognised for their uniquely innovative and impactful contributions.

Nick Hoskin, founder of the TMRRW Awards said, “We’ve been astounded by the level of creativity and commitment that the businesses who have entered this year have shown. The Change Makers the jury has collectively chosen to recognise are setting the gold standard. We’re so proud to be celebrating them, and hope that by doing so, we can move the needle even further towards a better future,”.

Originally launched in 2021, the annual event has attracted 80 world class judges, garnered over 17,000 votes in the People’s Choice award and reached 14 million people. Previous winners include Dust & GloweveeSustainable SalonsYY Nation and Great Wrap, who described the TMRRW Awards as “such a powerful platform”.

The awards are judged by a jury of more than 20 leading industry experts and authorities, each bringing their unique experience and perspective. Judges this year include Tim Duggan (Author of Cult Status and Killer Thinking), Sam Elsom (Founder of Sea Forest), Slava Kozlovskii (Founder and CEO of evee), Tina Elias (Co-founder of Uparrel), Nancy Houng (Chief of Staff of Heaps Normal), and Palisa Anderson (Restaurateur and Organic Farmer).

This year, there are 20 awards featured within four categories: Innovation, Impact, Growth, and Excellence. In addition, there will be one overall winner: Change Maker Of The Year. This will be one entrant selected by the judges from the pool of all winners and who the judges feel best demonstrates what it means to be a Change Maker.
