South East Water has partnered with Snap Send Solve to further help customers report water leaks and faults on the go, using the free smartphone app.

Following a successful three-month trial, South East Water has extended the partnership with Snap Send Solve for a further 12 months to help customers efficiently report leaks and faults across its water and sewer network.

South East Water Acting General Manager Service Delivery, Andrew Forster-Knight said the Snap Send Solve self-service model meets the needs of busy customers, while saving precious drinking water.

“Our customers can use the app to report a leak in less than a minute, helping us to prioritise the leak and save water by describing the flow, adding photos and accurately confirming the location using the inbuilt GPS,” said Mr Forster-Knight.

“You can easily report any water leaks you come across, including from your water meter, and pipes from the street to your property.”

“The Snap Send Solve app also takes the guess work out of reporting issues to the correct authority for a response. For example, the app helps you report sewer issues to us, but issues with stormwater drains and gutters are directed to the relevant local Council. The app helps customers make this distinction,” said Mr Forster-Knight.

South East Water works around the clock to keep our water and sewer network flowing. We aim to solve problems before they affect our customers, the community and the environment.
