Together Blyton and Poljski reflected, imagined, and figured out where their next Alliance would lead them. The results based on their individual practices, methods and materials inevitably informed their discussions on the canvas’ surfaces that form Alliance 2.
Blyton and Poljski started working together in 2008 when at Redgate Artist’s Residence in Beijing.
Australian abstract artist Louise Blyton employs precise, Reductivist methods to create lucid, harmonious, multidimensional artworks that embody the marriage of colour, texture, and form.
Cat Poljski uses a range of printmaking processes to create imagined cities based on the cities that she visits.
